"Country Music Capital of Canada," Merritt is
host to the annual Merritt Mountain Music Festival every
July. The festival is a week long event showcasing top performers
in country music. Country fans come from around the globe
to this beautiful valley to see the stars on stage, as well
as visit the Merritt Walk of Stars to put their palms into
the hand prints of their favourite country celebrities.
